I have a rolling 3 month lease and want to get cable and a land line. I would like to know if i can get a short term contract for cable/land line or if they are all 12 months and if they are all at least 12 months would i be able to take my cable/land line contract with me to another address?

It might depend on who the cable and phone providers are in your area. Comcast cable accepts new subscribers with no contract, as does AT&T for landline telephone service.
