i want to use the leftover wall paint which are in a flat enamel(washable) on the drawer fronts but do the actual dresser(sides, top etc) in a high gloss or semi gloss finish. what do u think about having two differet sheens?

I’m going to be renting my first property, its only going to be a 2 bedroom flat in the gloucestershire region. The rent includes water rates, so I just wanted to know roughly what the other bills would amount to a month, I.e electric, gas, contents insurance, etc, or anything I’ve forgot to mension and if there is a easy way to work this out before I agree to rent and realise I can’t afford it…

I was a short term employee who signed a fixed term contract and now the contract/work has ended. Would I be able to file for unemployment benefits even if I wasn’t fired. I looked at Illinois Department of Employment Security’s website but they are unclear in terms of eligibility to get benefits. Any help would be great!

I’m renting a flat short term (6 months min) and will probably only stay 11 months because of my work contract – after which I’ll kip at my parent’s/friends’ for a month while I relocate and rent somewhere else and get another contract.

From reading other answers, it seems that broadband providers will transfer your contract to your new address (correct?) but, like a said, there is likely to be a gap of about a month between moving out and moving in again (to somewhere where I’ll need my own broadband).

Has anyone ever heard of a provider pausing/suspending the contract? I’m not talking about breaking the contract and running off at 11 months, I’m talking about putting it on hold, and using up the last month in my new place….after a month’s break.
