    IKEA!! Funny you ask about flat pack furniture because IKEA specialises in that and the first IKEA on the island of Ireland opened today! (weird they would put one in Belfast before somewhere like Dublin, eh? =p). I’m sure you will have heard if. They used to have days over on the boat from Belfast – Scotland ot go to IKEA! (must be good then, if they have day trips to the shop!!!)

    They have really good prices. It’s a Swedish company (I’m pretty sure of that…) It’s at the Hollywood Exchange in Belfast.

    Here’s the website:=-20&StoreName=belfast

    Address:
    IKEA Belfast Office
    Unit 3 Harbour View
    Heron Road
    Sydenham Business Park
    Belfast Harbour Estate
    Belfast
    BT3 9LE

    You can easilly get there because these Metro buses stop at the Holywood Exchange: 26, 26A, 26B, 27 and 28.

    Just incase you arrive there and the doors are looked, here’s the opening hours:
    Mon – Fri: 10am – 10pm
    Saturday: 9am – 8pm
    Sunday: 1pm – 6pm

    Here’s a map incase you have problems finding it:

    Happy flat pack furniture shopping!

    Gosh yes – imagine putting IKEA in Belfast before Dublin!! Gosh, maybe their research tells them that Belfast area has more disposable income with more employed and more housing with better infrastructure than Dublin.
