What are the effects of epilation (hair removal by the roots)?

short term removal

Like, short and long term effects.

Are the long term effects of epilation like the long term effects of waxing, by any chance? (The long term effects of waxing is finer and slower hair growth, loss of elastically of skin and premature wrinkling.)

Epilation is very similar to waxing, but I never heard of it causing wrinkling or affecting the elasticity of the skin. I prefer epilating – less time consuming, and not a messy. The regrowth is definitely finer, more sparse, and slower, with some areas of my legs completely hair free now.
