Im considering moving into a 3 bedroom apartment with two of my friends. What costs besides the rent would we need to consider (like water, gas, electricity) and what is the average cost ??
Thank You !

For a 3 bed apartment:
Council tax – likely cost £1,500pa (London prices)
Water – allow £20pm
Gas – allow £25pm
Electric – allow £25pm
Utilities depend on service provider, how frugal you are, and how energy efficient your home is.
Contents insurance – allow £100pa
Deposit – anything from one month’s rent to 6 weeks rent.
Service charge, ground rent and buildings insurance are normally paid by the landlord.
